Synopsis: Behind The Photos is a 6-minute short documentary featuring NYC freelance photographer Gabe Suazo. Dominican born and Bronx raised, Suazo takes us on a journey through his photographic process while shedding light on what it’s like to be an artist raised in an immigrant household.

Scene description: This scene takes us to the backrooms of the South Bronx for a rave. Bodega Rave, hosted by MUNDO a Caribbean sound system born in The Bronx was created for the uptown dance and rave scene.
Synopsis: Welcome To The Bronx is a short documentary that explores the Bronx through the eyes of the narrator, Leandra Manon. Manon, who is a born and raised Bronx-Dominican, grew up with the notion that where she came from wasn't a place that folks should aspire to be in. Being fed up with the harmful stereotypes and narratives that continue to harm the boroughs reputation today, Manon takes viewers on a journey through the borough to uncover what makes this borough worth being in.

“NYCHA: The False American Dream”

Synopsis: NYCHA: The False American Dream is a mixed-media website highlighting Fulton Housing tenants who feared then-Mayor Bill De Blasio's privatization plans could displace them from their homes. This website contains photographs, videos and audio interviews from Fulton tenants, allies and activists.
